The NCAA is undoubtedly looking to the United States Congress to pass a federal law that would supersede state laws, create uniform NIL compensation rules, and protect the NCAA from legal actions. Nothing in the Act or any Commission rule will affect the employment status of a student athlete with a postsecondary educational institution.
