JUDGE DENIES MOTION TO AMEND JUDGMENT AND MOTION FOR SANCTIONS IN FDCPA CASE
- A District Court judge in Connecticut has denied a plaintiff’s motion to amend or relieve a judgment while also denying the defendant’s motion for sanctions in a Fair Debt Collection Practices Act case in a ruling that closes a case that has been back and forth between the District Court and Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. What’s interesting about this case is that the debt in question appears to be commercial in nature.
