- Teaching someone to be a collector is a fairly straightforward process because you know at the end of the training, you want those individuals to be able to collect debts, compliantly, empathetically, and persuasively. Teaching someone to be a manager is an entirely different process because at the end of the training, you want someone who can be a leader. And being a leader doesn’t necessarily look the same from person to person and from agency to agency.
