How did you get your start in the industry?
I switched law firms in 2015 because I was seeking a new opportunity. I started working with Rick Perr and dove right in, learning everything I could about the industry.
What is your career highlight so far?
I have really enjoyed working to expand my firm’s practice group to establish a nationwide presence. I also have enjoyed speaking at regional and national conferences.
When or how are you most productive?
I am most productive when I have my targeted to do list and a hot cup of tea.

Rick Perr. Rick has been my mentor since day one and has always challenged me to improve my skills every day.
What is one thing you do better than everyone else?
I try to size up a situation quickly and evaluate the potential outcomes.

What is one thing you wish you could change about this industry?
I really wish some of the judges would recognize more that many plaintiffs’ claims are manufactured by their attorneys.
If you weren’t in this industry, what would you be doing?
I would be traveling to watch the French Open and Wimbledon in person.
Describe a typical work day.
I counsel clients regarding defending against FDCPA, FCRA, and TCPA lawsuits. I advise clients on compliance issues. I also mentor younger attorneys in my firm.
What is your guilty pleasure?
I love to read about the British royal family. I also love watching Downton Abbey.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Always do your homework and be prepared for every situation.
