PDCflow Releases Card Verify for Credit Card Transaction Authentication

PDCflow announces Card Verify for Credit Card Transaction Authentication

Validating credit card information before a transaction is submitted can eliminate failed payments. To help merchants ensure card data is accurate before a transaction is processed, PDCflow announces the new Card Verify feature.

Card Verify Benefits

Companies with too many failed credit card payments lose out on revenue and waste staff time contacting customers for alternative card numbers. This is especially true when managing recurring payment schedules in your payment processing software.

When staff or customers type the wrong card number or use an invalid card, you often won’t know until the day the first payment is due.

Using Card Verify technology, companies can now submit card information ahead of a payment to catch incorrect card data at the time of entry. This prevents bad transactions from being processed.

PDCflow Credit Card Verify Feature Release

How it Works

Card Verify works by submitting a $0 card transaction before storing card data for future use. This catches easily avoidable errors and offers customers an immediate chance to use an alternate payment method.

Once a card is successfully submitted, the payment workflow will continue. Some of the pieces of information used during verification are:

  • Card number
  • Card expiration date
  • Street address and postal code
  • Card security code
