Burr’s Forrest Latta Elected Leader of Mobile Bar Association

Mobile Partner Forrest Latta has been elected Vice President of the Mobile Bar Association for 2021 and will serve as president in the following term. He was elected by acclamation at the association’s meeting on November 13, 2020.

The Mobile Bar Association is one of the nation’s ten oldest, having recently celebrated 150 years since its incorporation but dating back to the early 1700s. It includes over 1,000 members and is governed by an Executive Committee comprised of four elected officers.

Mr. Latta is a partner in Burr & Forman’s Mobile office where he has been a member of the bar for 37 years. He is a Fellow in the Alabama Law Foundation and active in numerous professional organizations. He also is a Member of the Board of Trustees of Troy University, a public-owned university system.

Latta practices mainly in the field of business and insurance litigation throughout Burr & Forman’s region representing financial institutions, insurance companies, product manufacturers, and media and entertainment providers.
